Welcome to the BM Library which is located in the Monsignor Newstead Centre on the second floor at Bishop MacDonell Catholic High School.

The library collection includes reference books, magazines, newspapers, graphic novels, manga, and of course, great books for reading and research.  There are many titles specifically chosen to support the high school curriculum.

The library is open before school, throughout the lunch hour and for students wtih a spare period.  The librarian is available to answer questions, recommend material for school projects and assist with the use of on-line databases.

There are 15 computers, a printer and a photocopier in the library.  Printing and photocopying costs $.10/page.

Wellington Catholic District School Board provides access to some excellent databases and citations tools that are recommended for researching and completing school projects.  User names and passwords are necessary to access some of these databases which are available through the library.

The library holds a monthly Book Club meeting and a weekly Watercolour Painting Club.
