Preliminary Findings:

Sophia Fanourgiakis, M.Sc. and Margaret Lumley, Ph.D., C.Psych., both of the Department of Psychology, University of Guelph, have been studying the influence of a strength-based approach to education at schools from the Wellington Catholic District School Board.  Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School is a 9-12 high school of about 750 students in the South end of Guelph, ON.  St. John Bosco is an Alternative Education high school located downtown Guelph, ON.
