I am writing to update you on the timing and process for the attendance boundary reviews that the Board is currently conducting. The original timelines indicated that recommendations would be presented to the Board of Trustees at the April 6th Board meeting. Given these very extraordinary circumstances, the April Board meeting will be held virtually. At this meeting, the Board of Trustees will be provided with an update regarding the boundary process to date, preferred scenarios and the feedback that has been collected to date. However, the final recommendations will not be presented to the Board until we have an opportunity to ensure that the public is able to participate at a future Board meeting. As we continue to monitor the situation and new information becomes available, we will provide updates to the community with our immediate focus on the safety and well-being of our students, staff and families.
