Bishop's Dinner for Community Needs to Benefit CMHAWW

This year’s Bishop’s Dinner for Community Needs happening on October 13 at the ICC will benefit the Canadian Mental Health Association of Waterloo -Wellington.

Selected as a beneficiary for this year’s dinner, CMHA WW is a non-profit organization that provides a full care system for those with addictions, mental health or developmental needs serving everyone from children to adults to seniors all under one roof.

CMHA WW inspires and supports people to achieve the quality of life that they desire. Programs help individuals and families to lead lives filled with meaning and promise offering a wide-range of services, from children’s mental health and developmental services, to adult counselling and treatment, eating disorders, first step psychosis, team-based care for those with complex mental health needs, housing, employment, mental health promotion and education, as well as mental health and intensive geriatric supports for seniors.

CMHA WW has a very collaborative and supportive relationship with the Wellington Catholic – including individual schools, principals, Special Education supports, social workers, CYC and teachers.

Support through the Bishop’s Dinner will help support CMHA WW’s programs and services with the greatest needs.
