Bishop's Dinner for Community Needs to Benefit CW Food Bank

This year’s Bishop’s Dinner for Community Needs happening on October 13 at the ICC will benefit the  Centre Wellington Food Bank.

The CW Food Bank, a member of Food Banks Canada and Feed Ontario, is committed to easing hunger in Centre Wellington’s Community in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Serving over 9,000 meals on a yearly basis, including regular and drop-in Food Bank visits, monthly Community Dinners and special programs/events, the Food Bank has around 7,000 interactions with those seeking help.

The Food Bank operates in a grocery store structure, seeing individuals entering the market space with the ability to do their own shopping. The market really runs off community support, even receiving excess foods from local fast food restaurants and grocery stores.
