Student Trustees Elected for 2023-2024 School Year

The Wellington Catholic District School Board welcomes elected Board Student Trustees for the 2023-2024 school year.

At the most recent meeting of the Wellington Catholic District School Board held on February 28,2023, student senators elected incoming Student Trustees for the 2023-24 school year.  

Vivian Huynh, student senator from Bishop Macdonell CHS and Jack Zamin, student senator from Our Lady of Lourdes CHS were elected to the position of Board Student Trustee.  Huynh and Zamin’s term of office begins on August 1, 2023.  They will work with current student trustees, Giuliana Koledin and Justina Madrid, in preparation for their new responsibilities for next year.

The student senate serves as advisory committee to the Director of Education and have the opportunity to connect with other student leaders from schools across the Wellington Catholic District School Board and develop initiatives to benefit students across our district.  Incoming Student Trustees Huynh and Zamin hold additional responsibilities serving as representative members of the Wellington Catholic Board of Trustees.
