At the June 1, 2020 Board meeting, recommendations were presented to the Board of Trustees related to the preferred option for boundary changes which included details regarding timing and potential grand-parenting of existing students. Three delegations made presentations to the Board and subsequently, administration and the Board of Trustees received additional correspondence including requests for data clarification. The Board of Trustees has requested that administration provide this clarification at the Board meeting scheduled for July 6, 2020. Administration will provide a report at this public meeting which will also be made available on the Board website.

CUPE Local 256 and the Wellington Catholic District School Board have reached a local tentative agreement. Members will vote on this tentative agreement by July 3, 2020.

We firmly believe we are smarter and better together and I am asking you for five minutes today and another five minutes tomorrow to help us plan around COVID-19 and Reopening Our Schools.

Letter to Parents and Guardians May 19, 2020

This letter includes important information regarding well-being, elementary and secondary graduations, assessment, evaluation and reporting, and summer learning.

The Wellington Catholic District School Board is developing a process for families and students to retrieve their personal belongings.

The focus of this first Attendance Boundary review for elementary recommendation was to better allocate the Board’s enrolment to address capacity issues. The desired outcome being to better distribute and balance enrolments between existing schools and use space and resources more efficiently, in addition, to improve utilization and reduce available surplus space at some schools while alleviating existing and future enrolment pressure at other schools.
