International Languages Program
The Wellington Catholic District School Board is committed to offering an International Languages Program for the community with the goal of promoting culture through learning a new language. Students attending Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 have the opportunity for academic instruction in languages other than English and French. Saturday morning during the school year and Weekday mornings for three weeks during the summer, students may learn and/or maintain a language and develop an appreciation for cultural diversity.
The International Languages Elementary Program is funded by the Ministry of Education. The program is free of charge to Ontario students attending Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Personal information is collected under the authority of the Education Act and will be used for the International Languages Program only.
We currently offer programming for the following languages:
- Arabic
- Cantonese
- Chinese/Mandarin
- Farsi
- Gujarati
- Hungarian

- Polish
- Portuguese (Brazilian Dialect)
