Each new school year brings with it a sense of hope, anticipation and excitement. The upcoming year, a jubilee year in the church calendar, has been declared the “Year of Hope” by Pope Francis and we will be celebrating this throughout the year. We hope this school year provides your children great opportunities for learning, personal growth and faith formation with the Wellington Catholic District School Board. We look forward to supporting this growth throughout the year.

School Year Calendar – We want to remind you that the first day of school has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Our school staff will be involved in professional learning activities and training on Tuesday, September 3 in preparation for the start of the school year.

Professional Activity Day – Tuesday, September 3 – The first professional activity day for staff this year will be held on Tuesday, September 3. The focus of the first day is annual Health and Safety training, new curriculum implementation, and increasing student achievement in literacy, mathematics, as well as other job-specific training. School Bus Information – Families are encouraged to subscribe to our Student Transportation consortium communication https://stwdsts.ca/ Please ensure you check your Parent Portal Account on or after September 2 to ensure you have the most up-to-date transportation information effective September 5.
A Parent’s Guide to the Ontario School System – The Ministry of Education has produced a parent guide to the Ontario school system.
