The Baillie Award recognizes exceptional high school educators from across Canada who have served as role models, instilled a love of learning, and inspired academic excellence. Amberlea was nominated for the award by her former student Blake Gill, who referenced her as a ‘guiding light’ for students of all backgrounds and disciplines, highlighting her support for marginalized students and those facing personal challenges.
