Wellington Catholic District School Board

We are pleased to share that Wellington Catholic DSB students outperformed average EQAO scores in nearly every category. 

Grades 3 and 6 students surpassed provincial averages in Reading, Writing, and Math, scoring over 5% higher than the average in most categories.

Grade 9 Math and Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) results were in line with provincial averages. 

Highlights include:

• Grade 3 Math: 71% WCDSB vs. 64% Ontario (+7)

• Grade 3 Reading: 80% WCDSB vs. 74% Ontario (+6)

• Grade 3 Writing: 70% WCDSB vs. 65% Ontario (+5)

• Grade 6 Writing: 90% WCDSB vs. 85% Ontario (+5)

• Grade 6 Math: 56% WCDSB vs. 51% Ontario (+5)

• Grade 6 Reading: 89% WCDSB vs. 86% Ontario (+3)
