Account Password Reset 

To register for password self serve:

  1. Go to https://aka.ms/ssprsetup.

  2. Sign in with your board @wellingtoncdsb.ca email address

  1. Once signed in, click setup next to the option you wish to use. We suggest setting up at least 2 different options (such as Cell Phone and Personal Email) just in case you forgot or don’t have access to one. If you select Email, do not use your board email address but rather use a personal email that you have easy access to.

  1. Once you have setup at least two of the options click Finish.

To use Self Service Password Reset:

  1. Go to https://www.wellingtoncdsb.ca and click on the MyWellingtonStaff portal. When the login screen comes up click on the “Can’t access your account?” link and then select Work or School Account. You can also get to it directly by going to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/

  1. Once on the password reset page, enter your @wellingtoncdsb.ca board email address along with the characters in the Captcha and click Next

  1. You will then be asked to use one of the methods that you filled out previously. If you select phone, type in the cell phone number you registered and click Text and a verification code will be texted to you. If you select email, type in the personal email address you registered and click Email and a verification code will be emailed to you.

  1. Once you have the 6 digit code, enter it into the verification field and click Next.

  1. Now you will be asked to change your password. Enter in a previously unused complex password in the first field. Enter it again in the Confirmation field and click Finish.

  1. You should now have successfully reset your password and will be able to access your @wellingtoncdsb.ca school board account again.
