Student & Family Support Office
The Wellington Catholic DSB Student & Family Support Office is here to help families navigate questions and concerns about their child’s education and get connected with the right supports.
Start With Your Child’s School
Communicating directly with your child’s school is often the quickest and most effective way to address a concern. For inquiries related to your child’s school or education, we encourage families to first contact their child’s teacher or principal for support.
How the Student & Family Support Office Can Help
The Student & Family Support Office is here to help families when additional guidance or board level support is needed. This can include concerns that have not been resolved after speaking with school staff or providing guidance on complex or sensitive issues. We can also help connect you with the appropriate department or staff member to support matters that may require further escalation.
Choosing the Right Reporting Process
Some concerns are best addressed through other reporting processes. For instance:
- Hate, bias-motivated, or bullying incidents should be reported through our Safe Schools Incident Reporting Tool
- Administrative or operational matters (like employment, updating your PowerSchool information, or IT issues) are not handled directly by the Student & Family Support Office. For these requests, please contact 519-821-4600 or [email protected]
- The Student & Family Support Office is not an emergency reporting tool. If a concern involves the immediate safety or well-being of a student, families should contact the appropriate emergency services directly.
How to Reach Us
To access support from the Student & Family Support Office, families must first complete the online support request form.
