Career Discover Expo
Students in grades 7 to 12 and their parents are invited to attend the Dream Big Waterloo Career Discovery Expo on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, from 5 - 8 PM at Bingemans Conference Centre in Kitchener.
This free event, presented by the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) in partnership with the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP), is designed to empower and support female high school students (and female-identifying) exploring exciting and in-demand career paths in skilled trades, STEAM, emergency response, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
We recognize the crucial role that parents play in shaping their children’s futures, which is why we encourage you to attend together and gain valuable career insights.
Students will take part in hands-on activities, connect directly with industry professionals, and discover real-world pathways such as apprenticeships, co-op programs, and post-secondary options.
