Community Use of Schools and Facilities
The Wellington Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) acknowledges that the school is an integral part of the community and as such, it adds to the spiritual, educational, recreational, and social development of all who share it. WCDSB is committed to making its facilities available for Community Use in a manner that is both fair and equitable.
WCDSB, with financial support from the Ministry of Education, has developed a Community Use of Schools (CUS) program that supports access to school space outside of school hours for not-for-profit community groups with a focus on youth programming.
WCDSB is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive place for the community when not required for school, parish, or board use and without incurring additional operating costs. The CUS program primarily occurs after regular school hours and prioritizes youth programming through the promotion of healthy, active lifestyles for community youth.
Our facilities are available for Community Use as follows:
- Monday to Friday 6:00PM to 9:45PM
- Saturday 8:00AM to 9:45PM
- Sunday 8:00AM to 7:45PM
Please note that the above availability does not apply to Long Weekends, Statutory Holidays, Board-Designated Holidays, Secondary Exam Days or PD Days.
