This evening officials from the Government of Ontario and CUPE have confirmed that a tentative collective agreement has been reached in their contract negotiations.
As a result of this tentative agreement, CUPE employees will be on-site as per their regular schedule beginning tomorrow, Monday, November 21.
All Wellington Catholic DSB Schools will be open throughout the week as per their regular schedule.
We are thankful that the parties have been successful in reaching a tentative agreement and we look forward to having our CUPE custodians and maintenance workers back engaged in the important work they do every day in our schools.
