St. James students will be selecting their courses for next year in the upcoming weeks. The due date for course selections is March 1st and students choose and submit their courses through myBlueprint.ca. Students can access myBlueprint through their student portal with Wellington Catholic. We encourage you to be part of this process as choosing courses is an important part of your child’s education as they work towards earning their high school diploma.
To better support this important aspect of your child’s education, we are planning a “Course Selection” evening for parents/guardians/caregivers on Thursday February 16th. Members of our Guidance staff will prepare short presentations for each grade level that parents can attend to learn more about courses available to students. There will also be a chance to ask questions.
The evening will take place at St. James beginning at 7pm in the school cafeteria. We will begin with a general welcome and introduction, and then you will have the opportunity to attend a presentation by grade level. There are two sessions running, providing the same information in each. This allows you to choose which session works best for you, or to attend more than one grade level session. The schedule is below:
7:00 – 7:10pm Welcome and Introduction
7:15 – 7:40pm Grade 9, 10 and 11 presentation
7:45 – 8:15pm Grade 9, 10 and 11 presentation
